TCB

Transactions on Computational Biology

Transactions on Computational Biology (TCB) is a venue for dissemination of research at the intersection of computation and biology, heavily inspired by Transactions on Machine Learning Research (TMLR). TCB publishes original, novel contributions that advance our understanding of biological systems through computational methods. All accepted papers must include openly available source code to ensure reproducibility. TCB uses a single-blind review process—reviewers are aware of author identities. We employ a rolling submission process and host the review process on OpenReview.

Scope

TCB welcomes submissions in all areas of computational biology, including sequence analysis, structural biology, systems biology, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metagenomics, and the application of machine learning to biological questions. Submissions may focus on novel computational methods, new analysis of existing data using existing computational methods lead to novel biological insights, Computational healthcare and medicine (e.g., analysis of electronic health records) are out of scope.
